Classes for Winter 2010/2011
All Sunday School classes begin at 9:30am and end before service at 10:15am.

PRESCHOOL -- SENIOR HIGH EDUCATION

Early Childhood (Preschool)
Primary Sunday School (Kindergarten through Second grade)
Middler Sunday School (Third through Fourth grade)
Junior/Senior High Youth Sunday School (Junior High)

"The good news embraced by this curriculum is that the God we worship is the One who created the world, sustains it, and will bring it to completion. God’s love for the world was embodied in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, through whom we are reconciled to God as we confess our sin and self-centeredness. The Holy Spirit guides and strengthens us to fulfill God’s purposes for the world.

Through teaching and example, adults in households and the congregation have the joy, privilege, and responsibility to nurture Christian faith in our children and youth. Gather ’Round: Hearing and Sharing God’s Good News is one tool our denominations offer for Christian formation in children, youth, and adults. This curriculum can help individuals and church communities to grow in love for God and others as we worship, learn, witness, and serve."

ADULT EDUCATION

Adult Sunday School

Adult classes are typically conducted in a inductive, discussion oriented format. Typically, no prepartion is required on behalf of participants. When studying books of the Bible, study guides are often available for further, in-depth study during the week.

Adults are currently studying Esther.

• Mission Focused Congregations: A Bible Study
• How to Read the Bible For All Its Worth
• Faith, war and government
• The Drama of Scripture

Wednesday Bible Study (6:30- 8pm)

Facilitated by Art Garling, the study focuses on Old Testament biographies and their relevance for our lives. The classes are casual and geared for any level of biblical awareness. Everyone is welcome!
Located in the church house located in front of the church building.

God's Garage Band:
Exploring Contemporary Christian Music and Worship
(7:00 pm)

Facilitated by Matt and Eunice Leide, this class explores Contemporary Christian Music and Worship through discussion and performance. Bring your intstrument, your voice, or just a willing spirit. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability or age.
Located in the sanctuary.
