Rental Opportunities

Christ Community Mennonite Church has rental spaces available in two different buildings. The Parsonage is visible from Roselle Rd, and The Barn is slightly less visible behind the parsonage. Both spaces are available for one time or long term rental.

The Barn
The Barn is a fully restored dairy barn that was built at the beginning of the 20th century when Schaumburg was a farming community. The barn has two floors. On the first floor is The Big Barn Preschool. On the second floor is the santuary and kitchen. The white walls and wood beams create a feeling of airy, natural simplicity, making it the perfect location for your church service, wedding, funeral, party, or meeting.

Sanctuary

• $75 dollars an hour $150 minimum
• Seats 75-100

• accessible through the back via a ramp

Kitchen

• user provides all clean up $25 per hour
• on the same floor as the sanctuary
• 2 stove/ovens
• 2 dishwashers
• microwave

The Parsonage/Wayne King Room
The Parsonage has been owned by several families, the most famous being the Chicago muscian Wayne King who used the residence as his summer home and as an entertainment venue for smaller gatherings. The largest room in the Parsonage, the Wayne King Room, is a warm space, well-illuminated with natural light.
